Honing brushes are elastic, flexible brushing tools, also known as bore brushes or abrasive ball pipe brushes. These honing tools feature polyamide carrier bristles mounted on a twisted shaft, with each bristle tip embedded with abrasive balls. During machining, the balls effectively work down to flat surfaces.
This unique design allows the tools to deburr cross-holes while also enhancing lubricant adhesion. The most commonly used abrasive grits include silicon carbide and Aluminum oxide. A wide range of diameters and grit sizes are available to suit various applications.
