Description:
The most common brush of this type features an inner metal channel with filaments extending outwards. Known as open wound cylinder brush or spiral coil brushes, they begin as standard wound cylinders and are then stretched to the required pitch. Mounted on a shaft, the filaments perform their function as the brush rotates.
Designed these welded modular brushes is to eliminate the cost and disruption of returning entire shafts for brush replacement, enabling simple on-site assembly and replacement.
